bad vw bug

well everyone has a story about a vw bug and alot of kids owned one well i hope thay had a better time with thars than i did it was a 1962 vw bettel it was blue and it was sitting for years i pulled it out of a back yard ya up hill no it dident run the brakes was stuck well i got it home and cleaned out the gas tank replaced the brakes and tires and repaced the carberator changed the oil put a new battery in and it started right up i could have fell over so the car was running i got in to go put it in first let the clutch go slowly and the car wouldent move nothing the car was running and it wouldent move than i thout i think it needs a clutch disk so i had to take the engine completly out of the car to put in a disk put the engine back in started the car and it drove good shifted good the car dident look to good but it went down the road just fine so i started driving the car allover untill pop skip bang and the car was on fire ya the hole back of it so im going down the road on fire and then the car stoped and the fire went out what the hell so ya i was stuck i had to walk to a phone call my Dad well we got it started again we fixed it so i kept on driving it then one day the battery was dead now i just put that in thar well i had to replace the generator that wasent hard to do so it was allright after that then after 3 weeks or so the exhoust come off so you see i was working on this car more then i was driving it ya i had enoff of this car i did everything i could to keep the car running but i dont think the car liked me i think the car just wanted to stay were it was i think the car missed its back yard well i sold it to a restorer of vw,s hope the car likes it thar
